John Hodgman Makes Enrico Fermi Funny Again
Back in the 40s and 50s, you couldn't throw a dead fish without making someone angry because they'd just been hit with a dead fish. But you could be certain that once the angry person calmed down, he or she could tell you a really funny Enrico Fermi joke. Or, at the very least, a dirty Robert Oppenheimer limerick.
