Tina Fey Can't Talk About 30 Rock Until After the Election
Tina Fey has one itty-bitty problem with her famous, ratings-smashing, campaign-dooming biting satire of a specific Vice Presidential candidate: Everyone wants to talk about SNL, and nobody wants to talk about that show she's actually on: Palin Rock, a show about a comedy snow from Alaska modeled after Saturday Night Live.
Oh sorry, it's called 30 Rock and has nothing to do with Alaska. WTF?
When asked on Letterman, Courant reports, "if her portrayal will sway voters come election day, Fey said, 'I can't even sway people to watch '30 Rock.'" At a recent Fey teleconference, reporters were reminded "that this is a '30 Rock' call, not a ' Saturday Night Live' call."
She shouldn't feel too bad though. If the voters don't send Palin packing next week, surely the Vast Wolf Conspiracy will finally have their revenge, and Tina can get back to filling up her Emmy cellar.
