C_44587646Punchline Magazine met up with Jim Norton, the comedian, radio personality, occasional actor and author of the new book, I Hate Your Guts. Don't be too worried about the title. I don't think he really hates your guts. Look at those nice flowers he brought us.

The book is a collection of essays about people that Norton cannot stand, a very long list, including himself. "I just wanted to shit on people that have been irritating me."

Norton's interview spans a variety of topics, including how he really dislikes others' insistence on being factually correct:

"Too many comedians are obsessed over being right and being politically

brilliant and poignant and they end up just boring everybody. They

think they should go on Fox and CNN and talk brilliantly and it’s like,

‘Shut the fuck up. You don’t have to be right. You’re allowed to

express your opinion, but be funny with it. You’re going to be right

half the time and wrong the other half and that’s the way it is for

most of us."

If you need convincing that you want to stay off of Norton's shit list you can read an excerpt from the book, called "Heather Mills – I am Woman, Hear Me Hop" on the publisher's site.
