No, they didn't. The Lumiere Brothers did with the popular late-19th century trend of Débarquement du congrès des photographes à Lyon Rolling. But a recent post over at Urlesque reminds us of a pre-YouTube 2000 Stacey Grenrock-Woods segment featuring musician Jan Terri that elevated her from minor cult figure to slightly less minor cult figure and demonstrated how ahead of the curve The Daily Show was when it came to celebrating wonderfully oddball videos.
