For over a year now, there's been a lot of encouraging talk from the cast of Arrested Development about a movie based on the show, but I believe this is the first official anything about it:

The "Arrested Development" feature has moved closer to reality,

with Mitch Hurwitz and Ron Howard reportedly closing deals for the

long-gestating project from Imagine and Fox Searchlight.

Hurwitz, who created and exec produced the Emmy-winning series, is

on board to write the film as well as direct with help from Howard.

This is obviously awesome. Sure there's a possibility it could somehow end up not being a great movie, but then again, there isn't, so shut up. But I do have a serious question. Michael Cera recently came out as the only known member of the cast not in favor of a movie. If he can't be swayed, does the whole thing fall apart or will George Michael be recreated using CGI and old footage of Brandon Lee?
