I'll believe that when I see terrorism repudiated by muslims. At best the muslim world ignores it, or says "well, America provoked them", or "it is the responsibility of the zionists". If they really are peace-loving people it is time to stand up for peace!

Days after the 9/11 attacks, the American satirical newspaper the Onion published an entire issue devoted to it. Among the notable headlines: "9/11 Hijackers surprised to find selves in hell," with all sorts of pungent and hilarious descriptions of what the devils had planned for them.

I have trouble seeing what's offensive to Indians about Americans calling the people who attacked India mother***s and a**holes. Isn't that what most Indians are thinking about them right now? Strikes me as more comedy solidarity than anything.

Yes, John Stuart has a comedy show. Yes, they are all motherf*ckers, and we're angry about it. I think we share the same views about terrorists as the Indians. Is the tragedy funny? No. Can we try and laugh about how we hate senseless violence? Sure, it's a coping mechanism.
