We did it, you guys. Stephen Colbert's Operation Humble Kanye worked. A Colbert Christmas (link opens iTunes) didn't hit the top of the iTunes charts, but it is now ahead of Kanye West's 808s and Heartbreaks.

To everyone who bought A Colbert Christmas, you've not only humbled one egomaniac and delighted another, you also helped out a lot of the needy families supported by Feeding America. Go ahead and take the day off. You earned it.

Colbert totally kicks Kanye (And so can you!) I intend to smoke weed, talk to baby Jesus and enjoy the sexual healing powers of nutmeg all season long, in his honor.

I know "Operation Humble Kanye" called upon us to make our purchase Wed Dec 3rd at 17:00est but I thought it was Wednesday on Tuesday and therefore accidentally bought my iTunes copy of "A Colbert Christmas" on Dec 2nd at 17:00est. How much am I to blame that "A Colbert Christmas" did not make the #1 spot? I know I made a terrible error. I ask the citizens of Colbert Nation to forgive me. Also I need to ask, now that "Operation Humble Kanye" has concluded, would Stephen mind if I buy the Britney Spears album that did make the #1 spot? Please let me know ASAP. I am anxious to buy her album before the iTunes store runs out. Thank you -c

You Guys have crossed the wrong right-wing tyrant! Our Future Dark Overlord makes Stephen Colbert right wing look like the left wing of a Big Bird using food stamps to buy hash at a Phish concert.

By allowing anchor Stephen Colbert to copy Our dark overlord (Scott Sigler) "Bumrush the Charts" tactic of asking his viewers to buy his song on itunes at a specific time and not giving are dark overlord credit for using his tactic of becoming the first podcaster ever to get a major book deal by using this tactic. I ask that the dark overlord (Scott Sigler) be given credit for this Tactic. Which you should do by announcing that the Dark Overlords new book will be out December 30 of this year. And all people should buy the The dark overlords new words on this day or pre-order it through Scottsigler.com
