You've probably read up on Will Ferrell's Broadway show, You're Welcome, America. And you've probably heard all about Ferrell reprising his famous Bush impression, creating a fictional swan song for the lame duck president. You're probably thinking, "Gee, Gonzalo Cordova of Comedy Central Insider, tell us something we don't know."

If you know so much about comedy, why don't you just write the comedy blog from now on and I'll just take over your job as Executive Assistant Jerk-Ass. Oh, btw, HBO is airing Will Ferrell's Broadway show. Bet you didn't know that.

HBO will air a live telecast in the spring of Will Ferrell's Broadway show "You're Welcome America. A Final Night With George W. Bush…"

An

exact date for the HBO airing has not been confirmed, although it seems

likely it would come toward the end of the run of "You're Welcome

America" to prevent the telecast from cannibalizing ticket sales for

the Broadway engagement.

The HBO telecast will be a cannibal? It probably looks at other forms of entertainment, but then imagines them as turkey legs or hot dogs. Don't let it too close to Curb Your Enthusiasm. It's the only Curb Your Enthusiasm we have!

Politically themed comedy "You're Welcome America," structured as a

parting address from outgoing President Bush, will be Ferrell's first

solo special for HBO.

Gee, Gordon Cox of Variety, tell us something we don't know.
