Christmas is a time of giving and cheer, but mostly it's a time for gadgets. It's always been like that; myrrh was pretty much the Wii Fit of the first-century. And no one loves gadgets more than Stephen Colbert. So, with that in mind, here's a selection of Stephen's favorite gadgets of the year.

Giant iPhone
Sure, iPhones are great, but bigger is always better. Just ask anyone with scrotal elephantiasis.

Rock Band 2
Still looking for something to get Rush for Christmas? Maybe pick this up for them. It looks like they could use the practice. Just kidding, Canadians don't celebrate Christmas.

Self-Driving Car
If the Big 3 made these widely available, they probably wouldn't be in such a tough financial spot. Coming out with windshield wipers you can have sex with would have helped too.

Shoe Phone
iPhones aren't your thing? Well then consider this cool alternative. Though I'm personally holding off for the Shoe Phone 3G.

BumBot
If the BumBot can clean the homeless off the streets, just imagine what it can do for wine stains on your carpet!

Dance Dance Revolution
Not only is it a fun game, but it's the ultimate feud settler. If all disputes were handled with DDR the Middle East would be a much more fun place to hang out.

What to do about all the plastic debris in the oceans. Well I'v got some answers. How about bringining a 5 cent deposit on all palstic containers. Then in "oh lets say" a few years there be a billion doller bail out to include every existing container's bounty. Talk about pan handelin becomming can handelin. Plastic polution would be a thing of the past. Now lets say we tell the plastic manufacturers who produce NEW matirieal to pay a tax, rather than find ways to chemicly recycle existing matirial.
