I love Dane Cook. He is my favorite comedian. I have the upmost respect for him for all the hard work he has put forth in so many different venues: television, all of his standup, moving onto movies, and more. I had the pleasure and opportunity to see him live this past JUly and I cannot say enough to push everyone to go see him live, at least once. So different from just watching him on the movies, dvds, television shows. It made me appreciate his work even more so.

So yesterday all day I was soooooo excited for the premier of Dane Cooks Isolated Incident tour on comedy central.

I waited all day for this thing to air at 10:00. At 9:30 I talked to my boyfriend on holiday in FL, I told him it was coming on and he said he would watch it too since nothing was on TV down there.

Well I don’t know if you saw it or not, but in the first say 5 min he talks about Obama, and how if he had the presidents job right now he would assassinate himself.
Which leads to a bit about suicide, suicide notes, hanging yourself with Christmas lights, and what would happen when the person finds you.

Well my bf's sister hung herself and he foud her dead a few months ago.

I was like in such shock at what I was hearing, and just praying that my bf wasn’t watching it….I texted him "ARE YOU KIDDING ME" and he wrote back " I want to jump of stage and punch Dane Cook in the face"…

I couldn’t watch anymore cause at that point I was so turned off by it that I needed something LIGHTER to watch. HAHA Yes lighter then DANE COOK!
So now im not sure if my relationship with Dane will be salvageable. Like what are the odds! I guess pretty good.
I guess with comedy you are always going to offend someone but Dane is usually light and airy and this was dark and graphic….I'm really disappointed.
