I hate to sound like a shameless shill for the network, but let's face it, I'm a shameless shill for the network, and sometimes I just can't help but gush. Here's the thing that makes Jon Stewart so great: He's got a keen understanding of geopolitical affairs. And he's able to convey that succinctly and with humility. And he's hilarious while he does it. Guys like Tom Friedman and Bill Kristol get paid tens of millions of dollars to fail at what Stewart does on a comedy show, and they don't even have to do it with their hands up a puppet's ass.

I LOVED this interview. I had never seen this split-screen format on "The Daily Show" before, so I wasn't in on the joke (that Stewart WAS Gitmo!) until I accidentally saw the red on his sleeve.

I'm almost 70 years old, the first female TV children's co-host while in college (1957-58). Aside from handling a live studio audience, I ran puppets for "Popeye Playhouse" in Miami, Florida.

This comedy stuff never gets old — it just gets better. Thanks for what you people do night after night (even repeats).

O Porto é o clube mais corrupto e levado ao colo da liga portuguesa.
