You can't watch 4 1/2 episodes of Mad Men without learning everything there is to know about advertising. For example, even though I love the video with the gorilla playing a Phil Collins song on the drums, I've yet to buy a single gorilla or drum, so I know that's a bad ad. On the other hand, this 92Y Tribeca spot directed by Michael Showalter and starring all the funny people not only made me laugh, it also made me want to run out and buy a whole case of Paul Rudds. Ergo, great ad.
