Newburyport, MA's own Reg Bacon has been a pro juggler and comic actor for more than 30 years, so you can imagine his reaction when an agent told him there was a Steve Martin/John Cleese movie being shot in the Boston area in need of his expertise.

That movie, unfortunately, turned out to be The Pink Panther 2, but that shouldn't discourage you from Bacon's anecdotes about serving as Martin's trainer/juggle-double and choreographing the piece-de-resistance wine bottle scene. Bottles he designed himself.

There is no juggling equivalent of Gymkata, though I'm sure they've been floating a martial-arts-meets-juggling pitch around the juggling community for years. After all, if you can combine Muy Thai with basketball . . .
