Why Can't Women Drive? Because They Are Forbidden By Law
I'll be the first to admit that infrastructure is rarely funny. I'd go as far as to say that infrastructure hasn't been funny at all since America's last hilarious bridge, the Triborough, was renamed last year. Which is why I was delighted and surprised to find that bridge, tunnel and train blog Infrasturcturist had posted this extremely funny take-down of this article, from a Jordanian lad mag, about how women can't drive earlier this week:
From the Department of Uncomfortable Reads comes this effort by Middle Eastern laddie magazine UMen to enumerate the top ten reasons why “Women Can’t Drive.” The conceit would be tricky to pull off even in a part of the world where women have the universal right to do so, but the Jordan-based Maxim imitator — by all appearances honestly trying to be provocative and funny without being antisocial — doesn’t let that hold them back.
