Colbert Schools Congresswoman on Fast Mammals
On last night's Colbert Report, Stephen better-knowed Wyoming's lone at-large Congressional district by interviewing Congresswoman Cynthia Lummis. As you'll see at the 2:25 mark, the GOP House member is trying to rewrite the laws of the animal kingdom by claiming her state's beloved antelopes are the fastest land mammals in the world.
As anyone who took 4th grade science knows, Stephen is, of course, 100% correct:
[The pronghorn antelope] is often cited as the second-fastest land animal, second only to the cheetah.
This all begs the question, if Cynthia Lummis is wrong about land mammal speeds, what else is she wrong about?
