Every year on this day, people all over the world binge on green beer and corned beef to honor St. Patrick, who bravely chased all of the snakes out of Ireland. How does one chase a snake? Beats me, but I do know snakes are the worst and wholly unnecessary to the food chain. Which, I can only assume, is why Jeff Dunham doesn't have any snake puppets.

Snakes are NOT the worst, they are a critical part of the food chain (they taste like chicken) and when I'm able to afford a figure of the quality Jeff uses, there will be a snake "puppet" in my show. St. Patrick was a foreign evangelist in Ireland when the island (which evidence suggests was snake free in the post glacial era already) and the legend may refer to his driving out the serpent symbolism in the Druids belief system of that time. Don't disss the snakes. They're cool. So's Jeff Dunham.
