From Indecision

Following the the Iowa Supreme Court's controversial ruling that subjugating gay people for being gay is unconstitutional, Republican Rep. Steve King — in his mind's eye — has seen a disturbing hot pink and lavender-smelling future for Iowa

Now it is the Iowa legislature's responsibility to pass the Marriage Amendment to the Iowa Constitution, clarifying that marriage is between one man and one woman, to give the power that the Supreme Court has arrogated to itself back to the people of Iowa.

Along with a constitutional amendment, the legislature must also enact marriage license residency requirements so that Iowa does not become the gay marriage Mecca due to the Supreme Court's latest experiment in social engineering.

Unfortunately for King, it's too late for his state. The gays have already heard about the court's ruling and they're mobilized. Even as you read this, millions of gay homosexuals from all around the country are heading for the congressman's beloved Iowa to get gay married with their gay partners.

There won't, of course, be enough chapels to accommodate all the gay marriage vows being gay spoken, so they'll spill out onto the street. There'll be gay marriages in parking lots, gay marriages on roof tops, gay marriages in corn fields, gay marriages on the pitchers mounds of baseball fields in the middle of the ninth inning. There'll almost certainly even be a steady stream of gay marriages being performed right on Rep. King's front lawn.

If he's not careful, King might find his son getting gay married to some wandering gay by mistake.

Verily I say unto thee, there shall not be left in Iowa one man not upon another.
