The blurry line between Tracy Morgan and his 30 Rock alter ego is about to get a little blurrier. And by "a little blurrier," I mean, "there's a line between Tracy Morgan and his 30 Rock alter ego?" And I also meant "No. No there is not a line."
In 2007, Morgan appeared on WGN to not only plug his show but also a stand-up performance he was going to be doing in Illinois. I have no idea if he was buzzed or if he was…well, just Tracy being Tracy, but it's funny. The clip is going to be shown on the April 23 episode of the NBC show.
The real life (and hilarious) internet famous interview between the baffled WGN anchors and Tracy Morgan is not the first time Morgan's personal life has crossed paths with the "fictional" character of Tracy Jordan. Last season, Tracy Morgan's court ordered alcohol monitoring ankle bracelet was written into the Ludachristmas episode, because when life gives you alcohol monitoring ankle bracelets, you make Liz Lemonade.
Eek. That joke was bad. I should be forced to wear a bad joke monitoring necklace (otherwise known as a noose).
Anyway, if you wanna watch the full clip of the infamous interview, I posted it after the jump.
If you're really crazy into avoiding spoilers, you should probably just wait until April 23rd to see this aired on the actual episode… oh, and also Kal Penn's character killed himself on House. That's what you get for being a spoiler nerd.
I love how Tracy specifies that he wants the talk show hostess to have his daughter, as if Tracy knows the next kid he's having is definitely going to be a girl. When you are as awesome as Tracy Morgan, God lets you pick what your next kid's sex will be whether its a boy, a girl, or a fanciful cocktail of the two.
