Come on! How many political prisoners do you have to thumb-screw, how many basic human rights do you have to trample upon, how many millions of native inhabitants do you have to kill to get a little respect around here?

Comedy Central apologizes for the way we presented this video. We purposely edited out all the intellect responses to make these folks look bad, similar to the Michael Moore method. Now that we have discovered the socialist agenda of Obama’s administration and realize how he is attempting to reverse everything America, “the greatest country in the world”, has worked so hard for, we admit we were wrong.

The more we allow the government to tax us, the more freedom we give up until the government has the power to control our every movement, what we eat, drink, and mostly all the things we can’t have. All the wealth will belong to the government, a hand full of Marxist who ultimately will not help the poor at all. You see it in other countries around the world.

We profusely apologize for this anti American video and advise that we never forget the way we treated by the Britain’s and why we had to fight for our independence in the first place. God bless you all.

Oh, my first is back.

It magically reappeared from nowhere.

Thanks.

Wow, they deleted my first post.

They can dish out lies, but they can't take truth.

It's a sad day for The Daily Show.

Zolkowski…

The Daily Show beat-off to canned laughter and have an orgy with Carlos Mencia's ass crack, for all I care. They've implemented the incredibly lame Teabaggers joke as scripted, so … maybe they should jump on Janeane Garofalo's gloryhole and ride-out the whole "The protesters are nothing but racists!" shtick, too?

Whatever brings out honesty, objectivity, and enjoyment — right? Whatever stirs public opinion for the better — right?

Next, they might try looking under desks for WMD's, because I hear that that joyful joke gets some excellent play with lighthearted crowds that love to beat-off in public. Were you enjoying your god damned self and laughing your ass off, when Bush looked under his desk for WMD? It was Bush's night to vent, and he was only enjoying himself, right?

EVERYONE should laugh along and lighten up about death and destruction, right? Maybe, I should try to laugh and forget all about everything, huh?

:: LmAo!! LMAO!!1! :: LOLz LOL :: LMAO!1!!11 ::

Sorry, laughing like ignoramus didn't work; all of their shit still wasn't funny, because I can only recognize how Obama's arrival has influenced The Daily Show in one incredibly repulsive way: they love to obsessively ride Obama's dick and encourage viewers to ignore lies/crimes.

Essentially, on a nightly basis, The Daily Show has been brainwashing viewers to believe: 'What's happening in the world isn't happening.'; 'Obama is innocent.'; 'Conservatives are clueless and selfish.' And, The Daily Show's excuse is: "Hey, we're on a comedy network, it's not our job to be objective or responsible!" Well, they're boring excuses are beyond expired, and even their silliest shit is not funny anymore — not for me, at least.

You can enjoy your god damned self the way you want to, nobody said you didn't have that capability, but — for joy — do you get up on a stage — in front of hundreds of millions — to downplay illegal wars, tyranny, thievery, murder, and torture? Do you act like a mindless dick and pretend representatives are innocent, because 'They were elected to "represent".'? For a good time, do you pretend that broken oaths and inhumane crimes are meaningless, then do you go out of your way to paint protesting such things as a waste of concern or time?

It's true that the US government isn't as tyrannical as the 18th century British government, but we also don't want it to end up that way.

zzz, I've lost friends in Iraq and I still can enjoy my god damn self. How f*cking naive can you say Jon Stewart hasn't lost his friends or family in Iraq? Or are you just going to assume this to continue with your stupidity rant. You need to be able to take things lightly sometimes, this show does it very well.

Posted by zzz on April 18, 2009 at 10:52 am

The Daily Show fails to make me laugh anymore; it's just not funny but ignorant and hypocritical.

After crying about 9/11 and pretending to care about human lives, John Stewart and the rest of his crew suddenly forgot how millions of innocent civilians have been murdered or disfigured by a rampaging war industrial complex … under America's watch … over the last decade alone.

Let's all laugh about it everybody! WHAT FUN FACTS WE'VE GOT HERE! Time to laugh about misery and minimize the truth! (Not.)

Illegal wars, occupation, depleted uranium, cluster bombs, torturing, wiretaps, a growing militarized domestic police force, etc.. Yea, okay, none of those items are signs of of an existing "Tyranny" or an existing act of "Taxation Without Representation", because — of course — America's representatives did exactly what Americans paid/elected them to do; America's representatives never broke their oaths, but they've only been living up to their titles by *representing* John Stewart's best interests, all along. /S

Hey, Obama is bringing the troops home as we speak, he never lies to us but "represents" us, now everyone is happy and perfect in the world; there wasn't ever unconstitutional acts taking place, and Obama will make sure that such acts never take place. /S

Fuck off…

Maybe John Stewart needs to lose his family members and friends in Iraq before he gets the fucking picture, I don't know. I just know that hack comedic segments, like the ones expressed in the video clip above — they're not funny, not for me, at least.

Love The Daily Show!
I have 1 question: Why isn't anyone asking the questions, Why wasn't anyone complaining about when Bush was racking up the debt? and, more importantly, Why was it un-American to be against Bush, but now it is OK to be against Obama who only wants to clear up the mess left by the 'Chush' administration? (That is Chaney/Bush combined).

30 Million!? The charge that the government "killed" as a matter of policy 30 million Native Americans is false. Research shows otherwise. Most importantly, outlandish distortion of history serves neither the interests of the Native American nor the interests of history. http://hnn.us/articles/7302.html

Totally unfair representation of the protests, but this is a comedy show.

The sad part is that the "real" news networks are just as biased as this.

‘DISSENT IS OK; REVOLUTION NOT SO MUCH’. News media holds a lot of power and news media skews white. It’s a fact. As a person of color (black by design), this means something to me. If daily images in front of the camera and stories that are reflecting the voices of the country don’t represent the totality of its citizens (of EVERY race and hue), what message is that sending? Abrasive comments notwithstanding, there is more than just one face to America. Unfortunately average joes/janes will accept what they see/hear from news media as gospel. Lately that seems to be Power and Fear.

Power as in America’s citizen’s “losing” theirs. Fear as in “losing” this power will result in the end of the world as we know it.

Yeah, ok. How about simply a rising panic that the status quo is changing? That America is evolving into something different than it has been? Different doesn’t equate bad as would like to be perceived. (Anyone remember the George Carlin bit about different? Look it up.)

Say what you will — no matter how neutral the attempt, news media has the power to shape opinion. The world view of America along with how America views itself. I may passionately express it with a side order of smart ass that stings a little as it goes down, but we don’t live in a vacuum. And fair and accurate representation whether in front or behind the camera, or the subject of the story, isn’t Revolution or Armageddon. We ARE the proverbial melting pot; it’s why America is the best game in town. It’s why we continue to come out ahead in the long run even as we despair, disagree and dispute. Our strength is our people. ALL OUR PEOPLE. There should be routine opportunity to demonstrate that.
(What can I say — I’ve got a lot of free time on my hands at the moment)
