On last night's Colbert Report, Stephen brought on Ken Quinn, second mate of the Maersk Alabama, the ship that was recently boarded by Somali pirates. I have to say, it really brought back memories of my time in the Merchant Marines. The Merchant Marines is when you go on a half-day casino-boat cruise out of Tampa and spend six hours throwing up from seasickness, right? I never faced pirates, but I did lose forty bucks on video poker, so basically same diff.
After the jump, Stephen comments on Congressman Ron Paul's call for government sanctioned vigilantism to combat high seas piracy.
The Colbert Report airs Monday through Thursday at 11:30pm / 10:30c.
