This week on The Daily Show, Wyatt Cenac traveled to Sweden for a two-part segment about Socialism, which, according the the conservative pundits, will be arriving on US shores any moment to rape your pets and force you to work in a borscht factory. Considering the racial homogeneity in Sweden though, you have to think it pains the Fox News crowd to hate on them.

I am from Uppsala, Sweden as well and this is hilarious. Do you americans realize that poverty hardly exists in Sweden and that the education is free?
Sweden is a great country but I agree the taxes could be a little lower.
OMG, that was a thing of beauty. (And no, I'm not referring to the statuesque "pleasure creatures" either.)
Nobody gets really ultra rich in Sweden, like Bernie Madoff and everybody he ripped off,, they aren't rich now, like you paid about a trillion dollars "in tota" to Bill Gates and the rest of the MicroShaft crew (There are too many to list but not too many to count.)
But then again, Sweden is like Akio Morita who started Sony and who believed that: "NOBODY's worth more than a million dollars a year."
So, how is the government taking money then giving it back out for things like health care any better than people keeping the money then spending it on the health care? Is it the horrible freedom of choice that comes with capitalism?
The government already pays for stuff if you can't anyway. I have many relatives below the poverty level who have better insurance than I do above the poverty level. They've also got 2 four-wheelers, 2 boats, and an exotic fish tank. So, it the goal is to reward people who work by giving so much of their money to those that don't that the latter ends up with more, then Socialism all the way! If we're going to keep to American values and reward work ethic, then we need less wealth redistribution, not more.
Though the pleasure creatures were great.
Erik and Per are pretty good proof of why people hate Americans–they don't get the jokes.
