I pretty much always agree with the things you say, however, on the topic of torture I think you're missing a very important point.....If the people getting tortured are Al Qaida or some other insidious militant group.... then we are not going against the Geneva Convention....these people are not fighting side by side with their countrymen in a war. They are reckless lunatics who have justified they're actions to achieve their own personal goals. There is a distinct difference between capturing a soldier who was sent to war by his country and capturing a militant who chose to take up arms for his own reasons. Only those men and women who serve their contry, whatever country that may be, deserve to be treated with dignity and respect! Jon,
