A new book came out this week celebrating hot nerds. It's called Geeky Dreamboats and Stephen Colbert, Jon Stewart and Demetri Martin are among those featured.
I suppose I'd consider myself a geeky dreamboat, if I'm correctly assuming that the definition of a geeky dreamboat is one who is a geek, has had dreams and is afraid of boats. Anyway, here's what they had to say about Colbert:
Birthday: May 13, 1964
Sign: Taurus
All in the Family: The youngest of eleven in an Irish Catholic family
Sci-Fi Fan: Was a fan of science fiction and fantasy books as a child and cites the works of J. R. R. Tolkien among his favorites
Upright Citizen: Is a Sunday school teacher
Fun Fact: Stephen has his own Ben and Jerry’s ice cream flavor – “Stephen Colbert’s AmeriCone Dream.”
Why We Love Him
We love Stephen as much as he loves Lady Liberty, and that’s a lot. Back in the day, he melted our hearts as Chuck Noblet on Strangers with Candy; we swooned when he debated himself as a correspondent on The Daily Show; and he blew our minds at the White House Correspondents dinner. Now, The Colbert Report is our only source for news, ever. There’s nothing hotter than a Peabody Award except three Peabody Awards! Stephen Tyrone Colbert is truly The Greatest Living American. And that’s because truthiness = sexiness.
You can see Jon Stewart's profile here and Demetri Martin's here, and you can buy the whole book here.
I have a copy of this book and I would die if I didn't have itO_o I found it randomly at Urban Outfitters and mainly bought it because Demetri's in it. I like a lot of the other guys in there too, but Demetri is pretty much the coolest person in the book.
I would be completely and utterly lying if I were to say that I did not have a crush on all three of these men before even realizing that such a book existed. I have to say, though, the most severe crush I harbor is definitely on Colbert. I think he is the cutest thing on two legs. A well-groomed, intelligent southern gentleman with an upstate New York accent and a sense of humor to die for. What could be better? His wife certainly one lucky woman.
I don"t know about "geeky", but I have to say that Steven Colbert has a smile that (as incredibly corny as it sounds) "makes me melt."
oh yeah, Colbert is a mega-hottie. Why can't all men be like him? *sigh*
I agree… Stephen Colbert, Demetri Martin, and Jon Stewart are all "geeky dreamboats"… My kind of man!!
