The Colbert Report's week of shows in Iraq is almost over, and what an historic week it has been. This is something you'll probably tell your grandchildren about. And then you'll be zapped with a cattle-prod by your robot slave-master and told to stop talking to your grandchildren and get back to harvesting batteries. Here are some photos from last night's show.

KASY, nobody's asking you 2 respect other people's oponions, but have some modesty and do it anyway. seriously — if you are so insecure with your own opinion that you have to try to change other peoples', u have PROBLEMS.

Dear Absentia,

In marelyinoc's defense, I believe he/she was seconding the comment by jrung, not lee davis. I third jrunge. I am very proud of our troops and support their efforts and think Stephen is amazing and one of the rare celebs willing to put his money where his mouth is.

lee davis, while I totally disagree with your comment, I'm thankful that we have a country in which you may speak your mind, no matter how pin-headed you may be.

And, of course the soldiers are paid! Not nearly enough, mind you but who in the world would make those kinds of sacrifices and not be able to support their own families? You sir, are nuts.

Amazing job with the shows! The hard work and logistics to get these done in such a quality manner with great forethought and sensitivity, yet preserving the essence of your character, shines throughout the productions! Impressive!

Best shows ever! Cool seeing LtGen Jacoby on – his last duty station was here in Alaska.

Hey absentia—i think you read it going in the wrong direction. marleyinoc was seconding jrunge's post. =p

So I think your comment really should just go to lee davis.

to lee davis and marleyinoc – I don't think anybody cares about your apathetic attitude. The next time you decide to take a job where your life is put on the line – let's talk. Pay or no pay, these troops are making a huge sacrifice and they make this sacrifice regardless of the bonzo in the White House. Regardless of your opinion, these shows will go down in history as some of Stephen's best shows.

These have been your worse shows. I don't care about the military or the (PAID) troops. BORING

Seconded.

I'm very proud of you Stephen Colbert. Thank you for supporting our troops
