Announcing Colbert's Iraqi Coin Toss Twitter Challenge
What's the most you ever lost in a coin toss, friend-o? Better yet, what's the most you ever won? Well, in Colbert's Iraqi Coin Toss you could win this rare coin commemorating Stephen Colbert's historic trip to Iraq. Not only is he the first television host to tape an entire week of shows within a battle zone, he's also the first to have his face on a coin to honor the momentous occasion.
So, what is Colbert's Iraqi Coin Toss? For starters, it's not a coin toss in the traditional sense. Rather, it's a Twitter challenge wherein we'll toss the coin to the winner. Wordplay!
All you have to do is be the world's biggest Colbert super-fan and able to demonstrate that in under 140 characters. Tweet your entries with the tag #colbertcoin any time between now and 11:59pm, June 22, and we'll announce the winner on or after June 25.
See the official rules after the jump. Good luck!
The Colbert Report airs Monday through Thursday at 11:30pm / 10:30c.

If, for any reason, the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including, without limitation, changes in CP’s on-air or online programming, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest or for any reason that CP Entities deem it necessary, CP Entities reserve the right in their sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest, or the online voting process and, if terminated, at their discretion, to determine the Prize Winners from among all non-suspect Eligible Submission(s)s received up to time of such action using the winner determination process set forth above or in a manner that is fair and equitable as determined by CP Entities. All interpretations of these Official Rules by CP and decisions by the CP Entities are final and binding. No software-generated, robotic, programmed, script, macro or other automated Submission(s) are permitted. Any Submission(s) which subvert the entry process will be void. EACH ENTRANT WAIVES ANY AND ALL OBJECTIONS TO JURISDICTION AND VENUE IN THESE COURTS AND HEREBY SUBMITS TO THE JURISDICTION OF THOSE COURTS.
Entrants agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Released Parties from and against any and all liabilities, claims, suits, losses, damages, expenses and costs (including, but not limited to reasonable attorneys’ fees) resulting or arising from the Contest, and from any breach or violation of any representation, warranty, obligation or covenant made by each entrant herein, and each entrant agrees to release all rights to bring any claim, action or proceeding against the Released Parties, and hereby acknowledge that the Released Parties have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the prizes.
Past experience has confirmed that contests and other competitions generate substantially similar submissions or entries which closely resemble concepts and ideas that have been independently developed by CP Entities before or after the Contest. Accordingly, entrants may subsequently see a CP Entity presentation which seemingly incorporates an idea or concept or includes materials similar to that contained in their Submission(s)s. Any similarity is purely coincidental and unavoidable in light of the volume of ideas which CP Entities routinely considers in the course of their program development. Because of this possibility, entrants hereby agree to submit their Submission(s)s under the following terms and conditions: (a) that CP Entities may use any ideas, concepts, material, in whole or in part, contained in an Submission(s), (b) that all physical materials submitted become the property of CP Entities and will not be returned; (c) that all materials submitted are free from any lien or claim by anyone, including, but not limited to any union, guild or performance rights society; (d) entrants have obtained all rights, permissions and licenses necessary for CP Entities to use the Submission(s)s for any purpose; (e) that no Submission(s) or any part thereof infringes any trademark or copyright or otherwise violates anyone’s right of privacy or publicity; and (f) entrants indemnify and hold harmless Released Parties from any claims, suits, losses damages and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) that arise from any breach of the following conditions.

I believe I am Stephen Colbert's biggest AND oldest fan. Proof:
I learned to twitter in order to enter the Coin Toss contest. Ain't that lovin' you, baby?
why am i the world's biggest stephen colbert fan? because i am
Question: how come Stephen stayed a whole week, but the coin says June 7-9 ???
I want my money back! ow, wait..
Haha, I just laughed as I saw how long the "terms and conditions" section was. If you read it carefully, there's probably a line in there that states that you surrender your soul to Stephen by entering.
awwww shucks. i ain't not got no twitter account. or a cell phone. just one of stephen's greatest fans who still lives in the golden age when men were men, women were property, and you could sell your kids to pay your debts. President of the "Colbert for Emperor of Earth" commitee 2010
I'm sorry, did you just tell us we had to TWEET to win one of those coins? Twitter is one of the most idiotic and **unnecessarily hyped** creations that's popped up in the last few years. Coins are nice, but no tweets for me… not even for Stephen.
Good job! We have been taping you since the beginning, don't think we have missed a show. My friends just visited from CA. They had never watched. Got them hooked, they thought you were a republican. Woops! My husband died last year, but if he can he is watching you, watch out… Thanks for the humor, we sure need it now. Namaste
