Jon Stewart: Professional Stand-Up
You know Jon Stewart as the most trusted name in fake news, but that wasn't always the case. For example, he used to be a baby. It's true. Some say for upwards of a year. And sometime after that, he was also one of the country's top stand-ups. In this web-only video, Jon reminisces about coming up through the trenches with some of his old stand-up pals.
The Daily Show airs Monday through Thursday at 11pm / 10c.

i get the Error #2406 also, running Windows XP using Chrome, Firefox, and IE
I can't even get it to work on IE…
Apparently they don't want our ad revenue. Hell with them. I won't even watch the show live on cable until they fix this…
I posted earlier on September 26TH. Found that the changes didn't stick after I did a Restart of the System.
This is assuming you are running the proprietary adobe non-free player as I outlined earlier. Close and exit Firefox. As Root using Konqueror file manager navigate to /home/yourusername/.mozilla/plugins/ and check the details on the file libflashplayer.so. If it is the new Shockwave Flash 10.0 r32 version it should be 9.8 MB in size. The version I found here was was 7.7 MB.
Rename that file to libflashplayer.so.old. Copy the files libflashplayer.so and pubkey.asc from /usr/lib/flashplugin-nonfree/ to /home/yourusername/.mozilla/plugins/
Restart Firefox and try playing a video from the Daily Show site. This did work after restarting the system
If you try it and it fixes your system (or not) it would be nice to know. I still don't know what is the cause of this weirdness.
Good Luck.
Ditto here. Is ANYONE from ComedyCentral's website listening to this?
I get the same error:
Error loading stylesheet. RSL http://media.mtvnservices.com/global/flex/rsl/framework_3.2.0.3958.swz failed to load. Error #2046
I run the Firefox web-browser under the Debian 4.0 operating system (I've almost solely used Linux since 1994).
For those running Debian 5.0, the following webpage probably has your solution,
http://wiki.debian.org/FlashPlayer
This won't help me for a few more months,
because I value stability more than web-content — my backups need to be made in triplicate and checked once for extraction before I upgrade.
Programmers who use whimsical techniques rather than standards should rethink their goals — as a boss, I would show my employee that his work doesn't work.
This is what happens when you let bean counters make technical decisions.

Looks like error 2046 is with us forever. These guys don't care about LInux users.
SWZ File error

I am running Mepis Linux 8.0 and Firefox 3.5.2. This "Anomaly" turned up quite unexpectedly and I have been going quite totally nuts trying to get the videos from this site and http://www.southparkstudios.com to play.
In Synaptic I completely uninstalled flashplayer-mozilla Macromedia Flash Player and installed the flashplugin-nonfree
Adobe Flash Player – browser plugin.
That totally fixed it. Works great. Five minute Fix; weeks of research. Typical OMG is that all it was?
Trying to get a sensible explanation has been so absurd. Adobe leads me to this long drawn out crap about RSS feeds and Secure Feed Protocols. I really wish I had gotten that PHD in Computer Science now cause I don't know what they're talking about.
I still don't see the need for this as swf worked just as well, and I did not hear anybody clamoring for someone to fix that.
What we really do not need is yet another proprietary standard that does nothing but add to the existing morass.

I'm runnig firefox under debian 5.0 (linux).
I have the same error with the stylesheet. Very disappointing.
Let's get it fixed folks.

I get this error too… using Linux and Firefox… is this my penalty for not sending money to Big Brother Microsoft? Get this fixed please! All you are doing is preventing me froom following your site!

Lots of people getting that error message and unable to view Jon Stewart. Seems their stylesheet is "improperly" signed. Since July 20, 09. Very disappointing.
What exactly is going on here guys? You throw up a website on a STANDARD medium called the Internet and you only allow certain computers to see your videos? Thats like trowing up a gas station on the interstate and rigging it so only Fords will be able to fill up. Please get on the ball and fix your site so that it can work with operating systems that follow a STANDARD so we can all watch your videos and quit looking so ridiculous in this age. Thanks.
i get the same error, using ubuntu 8.04 adobe flashplayer 10
I get the same error. Starting a week (2 weeks?) ago I could no longer play any Comedy Central videos on my ubuntu system with Firefox from Hawai'i (APNIC)
