Cameron Diaz is set to join Seth Rogen’s Green Hornet. That’s not really that funny. But the mystery surrounding this movie is. Is it a comedy? An action movie? A hybrid, perhaps called an "actedy" or "comection" (patent pending)? Either way it goes, Diaz should fit into this world since she has the looks for a straight action hero lady, but also has the comedic chops to face off with Rogen’s Green Hornet.
I can’t deny my interest in this film. Rogen has proven to be a great comedic actor… but a super-hero? He definitely has turned his cuddly bear look into a more compact physique, perhaps more grizzly bear. The film is also a smash-up of great talents who you would never think would work together. Eternal Sunshine’s Michel Gondry leads up the team, with a script penned by Rogen and Evan Goldberg, the minds behind the hit Superbad.
At the moment all I can expect are guys sitting around in costumes, smoking weed and hoping to lose their virginity to Cameron Diaz. Which, honestly, sounds awesome and a lot like my guy friends.

Also, Diaz and Rogen- can you say "awesome blooper reel?" I think you can.
I cannot even begin to imagine what this movie will be like. I'm used to more indie sensibilities from Gondry, (obviously), but the other factors in the the film – Rogen, Diaz, Green Hornet are so inherently high concept, that I really am interested to see how this one turns out. Mostly I just want to see someone in a Kato mask.
As long as Seth Rogen laughs with his left eye slightly closed, he can rock in any comedy, drama, or actedy he wants.
