While there are some great comedy documentaries, stand-up hasn't been as thoroughly explored as say, the Civil War. Which makes sense, because the Civil War started in 1861 and comedy wasn't invented until 1955, the year the ghost of Lincoln convinced Woody Allen to talk about Nietzsche on stage. That's why I'm glad Aziz Ansari and Jason Woliner made a documentary on the life of a modern comedy legend, stand-up comedian and Funny People star RAAAAAAAANDY (Video NSFW).
