I hope everyone enjoyed the Comedy Central Roast of Joan Rivers last night. Joan herself seemed to love it, but then again, it could just be the plastic surgery making it appear that way. You can surgically mold a smile, right?

I’m joking.

I couldn’t tell if she liked it.

Either way, here are a few of my favorite clips from the roast and some immediate post-roast reactions as caught by Nick Kroll.

Carl Reiner surprised everyone after releasing some pent-up frustration he’s had since he started in television in 1948:

More after the jump…

Who knew Brad Garrett had this up his sleeve?

Whitney Cummings shows up the people who “didn’t know who she was:”

Melissa Rivers makes a surprise roast appearance and unlike the other Roasters, she's aware that she's not a comedian.

And Joan’s reaction to the Roast and Roasters:

Nick Kroll gets the post reactions from the roasters:

Nick Kroll talks to Joan after the roast:

See more video from the Roast of Joan Rivers on the Roast page. And catch the roast when it re-airs tonight 12pm / 11c!

Kudos to Joan Rivers for being honest about the effects of hysterectomy! In the new book about hysterectomy, THE H WORD, Chapter 48 is titled "Joan Rivers"Liars: hysterectomy didn't improve sex life." You can read about how hysterectomy ruins sex at hersfoundation.org.
