I may have left empty-handed after last night's Basic Cable Comedy Network Blog Awards (or BaCCoNBAs), but did you know there was another award ceremony last night? It's true, the little-known Emmy Awards were held, and South Park and The Daily Show were both big winners. The former won for Outstanding Animated Program and the latter took home the prizes for Best Writing and Best Variety, Music or Comedy Series. Here's Jon Stewart talking about winning last year.



Congratulations to both shows and all the other winners and everyone who was nominated and everyone who watched the Emmys. Good job, you guys.

The Daily Show airs Monday through Thursday at 11pm / 10c.

South Park airs Wednesdays at 10pm / 9c.
