I don't really understand relationship columns. Why would I want a stranger's opinion when I have plenty of friends who can smugly disapprove of my life decisions to my face. But when we're talking about comedians giving love advice, I will gladly accept it, because of how comedians are famous experts in the ways of wooing. In this first segment, Rob Riggle and Janeane Garofalo give advice to a woman who doesn't want to move to Texas with her boyfriend.

There's a second video after the jump.

Here they give relationship advice to a guy whose girlfriend has gained a deal of weight after they started dating, which is causing problems with them in the bedroom. If you read the actual letter, he sounds a bit less like a jerk. Although I guess it is still a bit jerky to send a letter about how your girlfriend has gained weight instead of just having a frank conversation about it (look who's smugly disapproving of people's life decisions now!)

I think we need more comedians giving love advice. Even the ones who've had rocky relationships can at least give us some good divorce advice. "Take your wife… to a prenup attorney! Ha cha cha cha cha!"
