Ugly Americans finally makes its series premiere this upcoming Wednesday night at 10:30pm / 9:30c, right after an all-new South Park. Trust me when I say, Ugly Americans is really good. I'd throw a screening party for the premiere, but my mom told me no more parties until I get my grades up.

In order to celebrate the upcoming series premiere, we're interviewing members of the Ugly Americans cast. We've already talked to Larry Murphy, and now we've got a new interview with Michael-Leon Wooley, who voices the demon Twayne on the show.

Who are your biggest comedic influences?
Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor, Kathy Griffin, Jennifer Lewis, Michael-Leon Wooley

When did you decide to become a comedic actor?
When i started making people laugh.

What was your worst gig?
A pilot for Fox called Fort Pit playing a pimp named Belly who gets arrested in Harlem with his hoes and has a heart attack and dies in the back of a cop car. (By the way, it's great to get a job in a pilot, but not great to die on the first episode.) After having that heart attack, the cops decided to ditch my body in a vacant lot in Brooklyn, which meant me being dragged by my feet in the mud in the dead of winter for 6 hours! Good times…

What was your best gig?

It's a tie between playing Louis the Alligator in the Disney animated movie The Princess and the Frog and the voice of Audrey 2, the plant, in Broadway's Little Shop of Horrors.

If you weren't a comedic actor, what would you be doing?
I would be writing questionnaires for comedy actors to fill out on Comedy Central

What's the funniest thing you've ever seen on the internet?
Without a doubt Scarlet Takes a Tumble.

What's the funniest thing you've ever seen in real life?
Anyone falling on the sidewalk.

How do you think comedy will change in the coming years?
Hopefully, it will get edgier.

Who are your favorite underrated or up-and-coming comics?
Me…Michael-Leon Wooley.

What's your advice for someone just getting into comedy and/or acting?
DON'T. Just don't.

What separates Ugly Americans from other shows on TV right now?
For one thing, it's funny and it's edgy. Something new and different. Kudos to Comedy Central for pushing the envelope.

Got any funny stories about working on the show?
One funny thing was when i got the call from Comedy Central to come down to the office to audition for the show. i got down there, and they didn't have any space available for me to audition, so we went into an equipment closet with a digital recorder…and history was made.

What's the ugliest thing about Americans?
Heidi and Spencer.

Would you rather have sex with a demon or a merperson?
A demon cause the merpeople always want to stick around and cuddle afterward. I hate that shit.
