In case you haven't heard, the series premiere of Ugly Americans is nigh. In case you don't know, "nigh" is British for "Wednesday at 10:30pm / 9:30c, right after an all new South Park." The Brits also call elevators "lifts," apartments "flats" and toothpaste "optional." Zing's your uncle, guv'nah!

But enough about England (Sorry, I'm still chapped about the Chesapeake-Leopard Affair. Never forget!), this is an interview with an American comedian who's on an American TV show about Ugly Americans. She's the very funny Natasha Leggero, and these are her answers:

Women who give birth in toilets.

When did you decide to become a comedian?

What was your worst gig?
Performing at an Narcotics Anonymous meeting in the back of a thrift store in Anaheim.

What was your best gig?
I went to Thailand and performed for the president (of tourism).

If you weren't a comedian, what would you be doing?
Vaudeville

What's the funniest thing you've ever seen on the internet?
Anything by the Onion. Also kittens falling asleep.

What's the funniest thing you've ever seen in real life?
A community theater production of Les Miserables in Solvang, CA while on mushrooms.

How do you think comedy will change in the coming years?
More beards and less leg-kicking.

Who are your favorite underrated or up-and-coming comics?
Todd Barry, Neil Hamburger, Nick Swardson, Tig Notaro and that guy from The Hangover.

What's your advice for someone just getting into comedy?
Try to have a bad childhood.

What separates Ugly Americans from other shows on TV right now?
America doesn't decide the outcome.

I got to learn how to speak in tongues! (hint: you just make it up)

The Kardashians
