Colbert Report, Daily Show and South Park Nominated for Primetime Emmys
There are a few sites with supposedly "full" lists of Emmy nominations, but in reality the full list is a 39 page PDF-document. Do all these people need Emmys? Can't we just give Emmys to people who are already very famous and therefore don't really need the award anyway? Anyway, if you're dying to know who is nominated in the Outstanding Hairstyling for a Single-Camera Drama, you can download the full list here.
On a special note, I'd like to send a hearty congrats to the entire Comedy Central Digital department. Our Daily Show Ask a Correspondent series was nominated for Outstanding Special Class Program! USA! USA! USA!
The Daily Show, Colbert Report and South Park were all nominated too! I put all the titles of our own shows in bold whenever they appear. Let's take a look…

A bunch of other comedy related stuff was nominated in weird categories (really an overwhelming amount of categories, Emmy people! That was boring to sift through!) but those are all the big ones.
Congrats to all the nominees! Remember, whatever happens, you're all winners in my book (My book is called Gonzalo Thinks People Who Lose Things Are Also Winners).
@John, Comedy Central owns South Park. They can take credit all they want.
These shows all deserve their nominations, and those that win deserve their Emmys.
Way to go Stephen and everyone at the Colbert Report. You guys deserve to win.
Steve Carrell: "You just made me vomit in my own mouth."
Stephen Colbert: "What's the weather like, up you own ass?"

Stephen, I don't believe that you visited the military overseas and do not know what "SNAFU" means!!!!! This has been around since WWII. "Situation Normal, ALL FUCKED UP"!!!!!!
just to get even with the cynical rodeo clow.

I guess it doesn't matter who wins, because the category won't be televised!

Comedy Central has a lot of nerve taking credit for Emmy winning South Park episodes that they (Comedy Central) censored until they were meaningless. And now they won't even show them or allow them on the website.
For any curious party, DS #15040 is Jon's scathing parody of Glenn Beck. Of all the awesome stuff he's done, that totally deserves an Emmy. Then again, it just *sarcastic snivel* proves Hollywood's liberal bias…
