Obviously, Star Wars references have popped up on Futurama a number of times. What Futurama nerd worth his salt can forget the scene in episode two, season two when Fry and Bender are seen playing the hologram chess game from A New Hope? And then there was, of course, that one episode with the robots and aliens and spaceships and stuff. What I'm trying to say is, these fan-made melds of Futurama and Star Wars just make sense. They combine two things nerds hold dear almost as well as that one Star Trek episode where no one has sex. (Click the images for the originals.)
