RIP Robert Schimmel
The comedy world lost one of the great ones Friday when Robert Schimmel died from injuries sustained in a car accident. He was 60. This news is obviously tragic on the face of it, but it takes on a greater sting when you remember Schimmel had recently overcome cancer (a battle he detailed in his book Cancer on $5 a Day) only to be stricken with liver disease. Our thoughts and condolences go out to his loved ones.
