If you'll be in H'w'd on December 4, you will definitely want to add this to your sked. At their upcoming Power of Comedy benefit, Variety will be awarding Russell Brand with the first-ever Power of Comedy Philanthropy Award (or as I assume it's referred to around their offices, PowComPhilAw) for all of his contribs to Women's cancer research. The show promises to be both boffo and whammo!

In addish to Brand himself, the evening will feach perfs by the following: Aziz Ansari, The Dan Band, Brandon T. Jackson, Nick Kroll, BJ Novak, Patton Oswalt, Bob Saget, Garry Shandling, Sarah Silverman and many others.
