Earlier this week, we announced the nominees for the upcoming Comedy Awards, but there was one category missing from the list: Best Viral Original. That's because it's up to you to nominate your favorite viral comedy video of 2010. The power is in your hands! Democracy!
So what's eligible for the award? Good question. An even better question is, what isn't eligible? For starters, The Zapruder Film is not eligible, because it was not released in 2010. Also, a jar of anchovy-stuffed olives is not eligible. Same goes for Walter Mondale's left eyebrow and Saturn's moon Titan. Other than that, almost everything else is fair game. Oh, paper-cuts are also ineligible. Sorry, I don't make the rules.
This video for Bo Burnham's "Oh Bo," on the other hand, is eligible. You get the idea.

The Comedy Awards will tape at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom on Saturday, March 26 and will air Sunday, April 10 simultaneously on Comedy Central, Spike, TV Land, VH1 and Nick at Nite.
