I always thought Bonnaroo was named for a  carnivorous marsupial that terrorized the Tennessee countryside before becoming extinct after it was learned they were deathly allergic to hippies. But it turns out that's a Coachella. As Jon Benjamin learned, Bonnaroo is named for the festival's founder, Don Bonnaroo.
