In years past, Comedy Central has roasted comedians, musicians, billionaires and David Hasselhoffs, but this September they'll be taking on their first warlock. It has just been announced that the next Comedy Central Roastee is Charlie Sheen!
The Two and a Half Men zings and tiger-blood barbs will be flying when the Roast tapes in Los Angeles on Saturday, September 10. Then your face will melt off and your children will weep over your exploded body when the big show premieres on Comedy Central on Monday, September 19 at 10/9c.
Here's what the man himself had to say about the announcement:
You could say I've been providing kindling for this Roast for a while,” said Sheen. “It's time to light it up. It's going to be epic.”
Comedy Central's head of original programming and production Kent Alterman added:
“Charlie has assured us that nothing will be off limits in this Roast… which scares even us.”
Stay-tuned in the coming weeks for more details and guest announcements as they materialize.
In the meantime, after the jump you can watch Charlie's 2003 Daily Show appearance.
