The recent South by Southwest appearance by the always entertaining Workaholics stars brought along with it its own house party, not to mention a bracketed SXSW band competition and, after the fact, this interview with Canadian music webzine, Blare. Here's a video clip of Adam, Blake and Ders applying their own brand of criticism to determine which band would bask in the glory of it all, though I'm not sure the hipster contingent would sign off on this:

I think Ders's Van Halen pick was spot on. Especially if either: A) the former singer of glam rockers Enuff Z'Nuff is fronting them currently, or B) a modern-era toaster/convection oven is at the vocal helm. With either of these VH iterations, it's probably competition enough for the Sammy Hagar era.
