Following the news that they’ll be taping in Charlotte, NC for this year’s Democratic National Convention, The Daily Show has just announced that they’ll also be heading to Tampa for August’s Republican National Convention.

“We are incredibly excited to spend a week in the beautiful city of Tampa,” said Rory Albanese, Executive Producer, ‘The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.’ “We look forward to enjoying the beaches and the exciting nightlife, plus we assume this counts as a visit to our grandparents.”

Tickets for the Tampa tapings will be available on the Daily Show website. In the meantime, here's a clip from their coverage of the '08 RNC:
