Axe Detailer Cleans Your Balls

According to this video, the new Axe Detailer is capable of cleaning everything from golf balls to tennis balls to soccer balls. Which is great and all, but I really wish someone would come out with a product to clean my filthy testicles.

Colbert Talks Meat with Jonathan Safran Foer

Posted by: Matt Tobey

On last night's Colbert Report, Stephen interviewed author Jonathan Safran Foer, whose new book is a startling exposé of the factory-farmed meat industry. Personally, I've always been pretty conflicted about eating meat. On the one hand, I feel a great deal of empathy for the plight of farm animals. On the other hand, I'm completely incapable of resisting the demands of clowns and women named Wendy.

The Colbert Report airs Monday through Thursday at 11:30pm / 10:30c.

Sean Patton Killed It on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon

Posted by: Gonzalo Cordova

Sean Patton is great. If you look up "great" in the dictionary, you probably wouldn't see a picture of Sean Patton because dictionaries don't have pictures for every definition. That is just crazy. But the use-in-sentence section might say, "Sean Patton is pretty great," because I hear all those Oxford guys are really into the local New York alt stand-up scene. "Indubitably!" they'd probably say. Here is Sean Patton on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon doing a great job.

This Week's Web Redemption: The Average Homeboy

Posted by: Mike Pomranz

From the Tosh.0 blog

Why should all the rap fame go to people who live in boxes, were raised on the streets or are black?  Denny Blaze certainly didn't believe in these conventions when he released his tune "Average Homeboy" over 20 years ago.

But despite being ahead of his time, Denny's sound and style still received more criticisms than kudos when it hit the Internet decades later.

Watch Daniel as he brings the Average Homeboy out to the 310 for a second chance to prove his hip-hop abilities in an all new episode of Tosh.0 this Wednesday at 10:30pm / 9:30c on Comedy Central.

Stephen Colbert's Top 8 Tea Party Moments

Posted by: Dennis DiClaudio

From Indecision

All comically histrionic things must end, and the National Teabagging Convention is no exception. This past weekend saw the dramatic conclusion to the politically-right-of-right-of-right's first ever national gathering, and as the rest of the world struggles to make sense of the writing on the wall (and the hand), let us honor the noble patriots who attended and contributed their guttural yelps to the national conversation with this collection of Stephen Colbert's best Tea Party moments…

The Comedy Central Insider Boilerplate Interview: Anjelah Johnson

Posted by: Matt Tobey

anjelah_johnson_v9Of all the stand-ups who were once cheerleaders for the Oakland Raiders, Anjelah Johnson is definitely the best, though it's worth mention that Gallagher is a close second. Anjelah's special That's How We Do It comes out on DVD and CD tomorrow and re-airs on Comedy Central this Friday night at 12:30am / 11:30c, so we sent her the boilerplate questions and got to know her a little better.

Who are your biggest comedic influences?
Ellen Degeneres, George Lopez, and I also enjoy Brian Regan's storytelling.

When did you decide to become a comedian?
2005

What was your worst gig?
When I first started I would do Latino nights and try to be way more Latino than I really was. They would always see right through me and hate me. *crickets*

What was your best gig?
hmm… The taping of my Comedy Central 1hr special!

If you weren't a comedian, what would you be doing?
I quite possibly could still be a terrible waitress somewhere.

What's the funniest thing you've ever seen on the internet?
I'm a YouTube regular so it's hard to pick just one. I'm big fan of kids saying funny things or silly animals. That never gets old.

What's the funniest thing you've ever seen in real life?
Has anybody really answered this question

How do you think comedy will change in the coming years?
There are so many different kinds of comedy these days. Mainstream, Alternative, Dark, Blue, Clean, Ethnic… Its hard to say how it might change. I can only hope, like in everything that I do, just grow and get better.

Who are your favorite underrated or up-and-coming comics?
Whitney Cummings is about to be a household name. She is smart, funny and has no fear. Nate Bargatze is also another clever up and coming comic.

What's your advice for someone just getting into comedy?
Be Yourself! Stay true to who you are and be confident.
