It is a sad day for us all when companies give in to religious organizations bastardizing the first amendment. Comedy, especially satire, is intended to provoke and inspire discussion. I find the group's name "Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights" intriguing. It seems that they have absolutely no interest in "CIVIL RIGHTS", only their own opinions and forcing them on others. I quote my devoutly Christian grandfather, as well as others, when I say "If you don't approve of what's on, that box has two buttons, one changes the channel and the other turns it off."

I have not seen an episode of this show; I would not waste my time. After reading about the episode where the Virgin Mary is denigrated, I would just like Comedy Central to know that I am following Scott Baker's grandfather's advice (and I suspect he would have had a thing or two to say about this show)...I am turning it off. No one in our family will watch this drivel...and the comment that shows like this inspire discussion is ludicrous. As a Catholic, I have watched various religions object to media treatment and get their way. I'm tired of Catholics being fair game for this type of filth. I guess you could call it "free speech"...it isn't worth anything to anyone and you couldn't give it away for free.

All of us are gawd's chillen, and if you can't laugh at fun poked at youself -- however profane -- then don't watch comedy central, cuz everyone gets poked. If one group starts sayin they are too special to be poked, the human reaction will be to poke harder 'n' faster. Let us not even start with the brush (shrub!) fires in Texas...

I just saw Mellissa Long on CNN talking about their new internet Pipeline. She explained that you can now get your news "Without anchor interruption." It aired at approx. 11:45 est on Headline News.

Have you seen Vinny Romano? I saw him last week in Naples, Florida and I'm still laughing. His skits on going bald and baseball caps will put you in a reality check. Funny funny funny. Check out vinnyromano.com.

Vinny's comedy on baseball caps will have you laughing. During that skit he demonstrates how many ways you can wear them: sideways, backwards, halfway up, halfway back, left, right, half ass, and of course, whole ass.
note: 99.99% of those who wear caps on a daily basis do not play baseball. I cant't wait for the trend where everyone wears a football helmet! Then the New York muggers would have a hard time!

I must admit comedian Vinny Romano's act is funny! Especially the one on balding. Funny funny funny!

Just found out there is a clip of Vinny Romano at his web site vinnyromano.com

Repression is of course the bane of all control trips.

Does anyone see any changes being made?
