Forget the Emmys, the real action last night was at the official Comedy Central Emmy after-party. We asked comedian Michelle Biloon to take her camera and her partner in crime Sari Karplus to the party and report back -- our only rule was that Michelle send us her report while still tipsy. The carb-tastic results after the jump.
After an hour-long dry spell, we have our first verifiable celeb...Cedric Yarbrough from Reno 911!
We were caught stealing...breadhanded. (that rhymes with redhanded) we were reprimanded. (That rhymes with both breadhanded and redhanded.)
After fighting off the man, we managed to escape with our coveted loaf of bread. Delicious!
Stephen Colbert may not have won an Emmy but he did win the chance to be in this awesome picture.
Not to be outdone, Jon Stewart, Emmy winner, gets his picture taken with the blog squad.
We switched Jon's Emmy with the loaf of bread. He doesn't seem to notice.
Here I am testing the rumor that the Emmy is made of chocolate.
I am trying to tell Cedric Yarbrough that he has cupcake on his teeth.
At this point, I am so drunk that I tried to answer the bread.
Drunk, beaten down and with contraband...we call it a night.
(You can listen to Michelle's comedy at her website, Biloon.com.)

Why on this night did they eat leavened bread?

Well,Eric, considering your masterful use of the English language, I cannot even begin to imagine why you would be stuck in "remedial" job.

Congrats to my favorite show on the Emmy.
Stephen, your turn is coming!!
Wondering if either of you had noticed the website I put in for URL: www.emergencymanagement.org ?
No common map grid? Even a year later?
When Coast Guard Commandant Adm. Thad Allen was asked
"Were there any lessons learned from Hurricane Katrina?"
"As good as we did in the search and rescue operations and all the people taken off roofs and that kind of stuff (more than 33,000 rescues), we could probably come up with a more methodical way to make sure we're covering all the areas rather than respond to individual calls. It would take dividing the city into grids, then search every grid so if somebody didn't have a cell phone and they're on a rooftop, we'd be able to find them and you would have what we call a better probability of detection or coverage factor."
If it wasn't sad, it'd be funny. Something you shows' specializes in and things seem to change.... Who knows where catastrophic will happen next? Certainly Indiana is more at risk than NYC!
Very best regards.

It looks like it was a fab place to be. Congrats to everyone at both the Daily Show and the Colbert Report, last year was phenomenal for both shows. Congrats to you bloggers for getting to hang with Jon and Stephen, I can't think of a cooler party.
At least Hollywood is smart enough to realize that they should be really nice to Jon Stewart. I can't think of two other people on television that deserve our respect and our admiration more than Jon and Stephen. They got the best applause of the whole evening and they deserved every second of it. Harrison Ford, John Lithgow, Annette Bening were just a few of the big names laughing whole-heartedly along with them.
PS Special congrats to the writers of the Daily Show, I was glad to see that they got what they asked for, as far as I'm concerned Comedy Central could never give them enough money. Their reporting is priceless.

I am the best and only funny business analyst in the US and I would like a segment please.
