Okay, so this is strange. Apparently, alt-folk singer/songwriter Will Oldham (aka Bonnie "Prince" Billy) will be performing stand up comedy at Weeds in Chicago on December 19th, alongside local comic Kumail Nanjiani.

Most people familiar with Oldham's music probably already know that the guy has a pretty bizarre sense of humor. For example, the title of this song appears to have been inspired by this classic joke. He's also had a brief cameo in the movie Junebug, along with Upright Citizens Brigader Matt Besser and comedian Jerry Minor. (How that ever happened remains a mystery.)

And here he is briefly alongside (or between, really) David Cross and Zach Galifinakis in Wonder Showzen.

Actually, maybe it's not so weird after all.
