According to Google, Stephen Colbert is the Greatest Living American.
But Bush is no longer a "miserable failure" (I guess they waited for everyone's Great-Grandma to buy a computer and learn how to forward email before disabling that one.)
Congrats, Stephen, you have Giant Brass Balls!
(No Fact Zone has easy instructions for playing along on your own blog.)

I'm currently the only Non-Colbert Living American on the First Page of Google Results, and I'm not quite ready to give up yet. I have been everywhere from number 2, to not in the top 100 in the last 3 days, and I will make number 1. I'm Coming for you C-Train. I may not have the Looks, the Fame, the Riches, or the legions of Followers, but.... Wow it really is stacked in your favor bear hater.

Troubling the Glass
At dawn a west wind troubles the still waters of an inland lake
Awakening the deep.
Splashes of light like silent shouts glare
across the water. They started in a straight forward
way to cross the lake in the gathering dark
but the wind rippled water broke up the
attack and smeared out the forces of light
into a undulating wedge.
Muddying the greens.
And always a mashed potato sky.
With some people it's the birds and the bees
but with you it's all buzzards and cane toads.
