As I told you yesterday, some wannabe Max Headrooms in Second Life have challenged Stephen Colbert to do some sort of virtual e-chat or something. I don't know. It involves creepy bears and eagles and lots and lots of nerds, that's all I'm able to grasp. But today the cyber-plot thickens. Some Second Lifers have taken a dream Stephen mentioned on The Colbert Report and turned it into a Second Life movie.
It's unfortunately not embeddable, but you can watch by clicking here. Is it any good? Let's just say I haven't seen a Soledad O'Brien impression that good in days.
Meanwhile, the guy who issued the challenge in the first place posted a comment on my original post:
If you think THAT was nerdy, you should see what I do in my first life! I am a Professor of Accounting. If Stephen Colbert, his big brother Jon Stewart, or some other folks from Viacom properties don't join us in Second Life, I promise you this challenge will get much, much nerdier.
UPDATE: Turns out that video is two years old and we already did a post about it. What can I say, we're ahead of our time.
