Brian Posehn Is Most Proud of The Sarah Silverman Program

April 25, 2008 AT 03:51PM | Comments (0)

Posehn Brian Posehn is coming to the University of Minnesota, so their school paper did an interview with him. He talks about getting into comedy, hecklers and working on The Sarah Silverman Program:

UR: What’s it like to work on The Sarah Silverman Program?
BP: That’s the thing I’m most proud of, really, is Sarah because it’s closer to what I think is funny than a mainstream sitcom.  It’s great. What can I say?  It’s working with your friends, it’s jokes that you think are funny.  You know, I never look at a script and shake my head, I look at scripts and laugh and then I get to go to work with all my friends.  I’m friends with all the writers there, I’m friends with the director, I’ve been friends with Sarah for 15 years, we have a long history, and it’s just nothing but fun.  We just go and we laugh all day and they turn the cameras on us and we try to not blow the take by laughing.

For the complete interview, head over to The University Register.

After the jump, you can watch a clip from Brian's most recent Comedy Central Presents.

Sanz, Posehn, Black, Showalter, Mirman Announced for Sasquatch

March 31, 2008 AT 05:20PM | Comments (1)

Sasquatch If you happen to not like R.E.M, Modest Mouse, Death Cab for Cutie, Built to Spill and The Flaming Lips, there's probably something wrong with your ears. Either that or all of the above bands were somehow responsible for killing your parents, in which case, I guess i can see how hearing their music would prove difficult. Sorry for criticizing your ears. In any event, even if you don't like awesome music, there's still good reason to attend this years Sasquatch Festival in George, Washington. The comedy lineup for the event has just been announced:

Upright Citizen’s Brigade performing A.S.S.S.S.C.A.T. And more featuring: Matt Besser, Matt Walsh, Horatio Sanz, Tim Meadows, Jerry Minor, Rich Fulcher, and Sean Conroy / Brian Posehn / Michael Ian Black / Michael Showalter / Eugene Mirman / Reggie Watts / Marc Maron / Morgan Murphy / Seattle School featuring: Mike Min, Korby Sears, Liza Keckler / People’s Republic of Komedy featuring: Andy Haynes, Kevin Hyder, Aziza Diaz, Derek Sheen, Andy Peters

Also, Flight of the Conchords are playing the music section. Hott.
