One of the great things about working up here next to the lovely Hell's Kitchen neighborhood of New York, besides the remarkable smell, is that sometimes literally the craziest things in the world happen every now and again RIGHT IN OUR BACKYARD. All week, pretty much the entire city of New York has been laughing at a news story where two old school ruffians took the corpse of their buddy, Weekend At Bernie's style, down to the check cashing joint to try to get one last score on his social security check. Amazing. But the one thing that's consistently disappointing has been the headlines in the tabloids (and, of course, the Paper Of Record). Check'em out:
